Malaysian Embassy Caracas,Venezuela

Profile of the Embassy

Established on 1st of October 1990. From 1990 till 2000 the Malaysian Ambassador in Brasilia, Brazil was concurrently accredited to Venezuela. In June 2000 Datuk John Tenewi Nuek was the first accredited Ambassador to Venezuela, he served for four years and left on 20th of August 2004. He was succeeded by Ambassador Ramli Naam who served from April 2005 to March 2007. At present, Ambassador Ramlan Kimin is heading the Embassy.

Besides the Ambassador as Head of Mission, the Embassy has a Second Secretary / Head of Chancery who is in charge of political, economic, protocol and overall administration of the Embassy. Further, there is a Third Secretary who is in charge of finance and consular matters. There is a Personal Assistant to the Ambassador who does secretarial task. There are eight local staff comprising:

Marketing Officer

Translator cum Interpreter

2 Clerks cum Typists

Receptionist

2 Drivers

General Worker

The Embassy has been stationed at the Eurobuilding, in 6th Floor and consists of two (2) units, which are under leasing.
The Embassy is also concurrently accredited to the following countries:

Antigua & Barbuda

Barbados

Grenada

Guyana

Saint Lucia

Saint Vincent & the Grenadines

Suriname; and

Trinidad And Tobago

Notes ; Semalam membuatkan aku idup aku jadi huru hara sebentar,mana taknya....Nak ambik as-built menatang plate untuk auditorium....mana nak kena hadirkan diri kat Hotel Crown Plaza lagi....Yerlah,janji pukul 5 ptg...alih2 schedule kena tukar ke pukul 3.40 ptg plak....Aku punya kerja kena advance ke depan beberapa jam....Rush punya rush,orang lain plak yang tak prepare site plak....bengang gak aku,kena tunggu....tapi memandangkan PIC semdiri dah cakap dalam meeting semalam "kalau ada kerja,tinggalkan dulu kerja tue".....Aku apa lagi,terus cabutlah tapi sempat gak aku pesan kat chainman aku agar stayback dulu sampai aku balik....manalah tahu masa aku balik nanti dari hotel tue awal....so,still sempat lagilah nak g buat kerja kot....(dalam hati aku harap2 lewat)...memang sempat pun!!!!Sebelum tue,Alhamdulillah aku dapat sehelai lagi baju Sunway Caribbean atas ihsan PIC...


Apapun,kedatangan Duta tue dengan pembantunya membuatkan kami agak tak sabar juga...erm,utk pengetahuan you all bila dok kat oversea nie bila dapat jumpa orang2 malaysia...punyerlah seronok ngan excited sgt...first, dapat cakap bahasa melayu....second,bolehlah citer2 benda lain....Than bila duta malaysia nie datang nak jumpa kitaorg lagilah best...yerlah,bila dok kat negara org nie kan...selain dari kerja kadang2 fikiran kita org nie melayang juga dok ingat pasal keselamatan diri...so,sekurang2nya dengan adanya duta nie bolehlah jadi kitaorg punya back up bila ada apa2 hal kat TNT nie....manalah tahu?....Kan....

In the Last,aku teringat pesan Duta nie kat kitaorg.....kalau boleh naikkan lagi lebih tinggi 'Jalur Gemilang kita di sini ( TNT )'.....macam tulah lebih kurang ayat dia....yang lain2 aku tak ingat coz member2 yang lain banyak yang borak ngan sesama diaorg...Anyway all the best to our Ambassador,second secretary and their team in caracas,Venezuela...Hopefully,if we have another time....maybe in malaysia we can meet again....cheers
